Wanted to get some craps players opinion on this betting style. It's a long video, but after watching the first 3-5 minutes you will get his betting pattern. Have any of you played this way? Is this a good pattern to follow?

 

Tldr, what's the cliff notes version?

 

Initial pass line bet $25, once the point is established, $200 Don't Come Bet, max odds on the pass line bet, followed by covering all place bets on the board, followed by a $25 come bet. Every roll after placing max odds on the come bets until to point is rolled or a 7 out.

If you watch just the first 3 minutes you will understand his betting strategy.

it's no better or worse than any other system.

his strategy is a lot of hedging, which minimizes some of the risk, but also minimizes potential gains.

in his first example, it was a super hot shooter and he only won a small bit considering what he had on the table.

if you have a super cold shooter, he'll lose less than someone not hedging.

 

but he's never increasing his bet sizes? how does he make big money on a monster roll? I didn't watch. but it sounds like he is just repeating / replacing the same come bet after that number is hit? Not increasing the come bet size? And he has one don't come bet out?

I personally would not like this strategy as I want all the numbers to roll, hitting the ATS, and keep increasing my place bet sizes, or increasing the value of the next come bet if the shooter keeps rolling # 's
